Passengers

We all become

For more than a decade, Passengers has quietly evolved alongside me.

Every few years I found myself returning to the same idea: the disappearance of a child. To me, there is no greater nightmare than not knowing what happened to someone you love. Unlike death, disappearance leaves hope alive, forcing those left behind to live with endless uncertainty.

I wanted to explore that emotional reality while moving beyond the conventions of a traditional abduction thriller. Rather than focusing solely on the investigation itself, I searched for a way to tell the story through a more intimate and unsettling perspective. Gradually, the film evolved into something that blends psychological drama with the supernatural, while remaining firmly rooted in the emotional reality of a family trying to survive the unimaginable.

Although the story has changed countless times over the years, its emotional core has remained exactly the same.
